Long isolated from the outside world, the Kingdom of
Mustang has remained unchanged for centuries, to
preserve some of the last vestiges of traditional
Tibetan Buddhist culture. Located to the north of the
mountain giants of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, the
Kingdom of Mustang is north of the main Himalayan
range and geographically part of the highlands of
Tibet. Trails are open to a few select trekking groups each season and wriggle through white-washed villages on an ancient trade route set amid barley fields, Buddhist monasteries, deep ravines and rocky ledges.Visit between April - May.
